We really try to like this place - service is hit or miss and sometimes so is the food. Buts its a good spot to have a few drinks, or meet up with a group and its kid friendly so that's a positive. But man - the manager here is so aggressive it really is a turn off. We were there a few days ago and 2 older couples came and sat at a table behind us. He storms through the doors and asks them loudly if they sat themselves. They said they did because there wasn't anyone at the front. He says "IT DOESNT MATTER THERE IS A SIGN - IF WE DONT KNOW YOU ARE HERE NO ONE WILL COME HELP YOU". It really made me sick to my stomach. They offered to get up and go wait and he told them no he would go get them menus. My husband turned around and told them he was sorry about that and that guy is a total jerk all the time. The look on their faces was pure humiliation. He came back with the menus and chastised them some more and went on his way.
Look I get it. You have to have some kind of regulation on seating or he is right - you will have people come in, seat themselves and no one will know they are there. Then they will get upset they haven't been served, etc. We all know how that goes. I am not arguing the fact that they didn't follow typical "procedure" but my goodness - you work in the service industry with people. Serving people. It cost $0 to be kind. You don't have to be so incredibly rude and condescending to get a point across. Its uncalled for. I would have chalked this up to he was just having a bad day or perhaps something prior had happened - that happens to everyone but, this is about the 4th incident I have personally seen so at that point its a personality issue. -

Great drinks and food! Mojo's gives off a fun, welcoming vibe! The Guiltless Caesar was delicious and guilt free if you're trying be healthy but, definitely has a plethora of traditional Sport's bar food to please! The inside was smoke-free which was comforting.

Who would have thought the Mojo delivery is way better than the pizza place's that specialize in that food sector. Hot food delivery hot, cold food cold, friendly service. Delivered within quoted time. Good job Mojo and Grubhub

A recent visit here was like this:
Server took our drink order. 20 minutes later, we get served our drinks.
At this moment, Server took our order.
30 minutes later, another server came by. By then my friend & I asked for another drink round. 20 minutes later this server brought us our drink order.
20 minutes later our server came back to check up. Mind you, it's been about an hour. I asked server if our food was ready. Server leaves to go check on it.
30 minutes later, the server comes back all apologetic. He forgot to submit our order. He does not have the original order & asks us what we wanted again. My friend & I both requested the check instead.
Server gets his manager. The manager apologizes, wants to buy us another drink. We kept saying no despite the multiple pleas this manager was making with us to stick around. Granted it was Friday night but the place wasn't that busy. My friend still left a generous tip for our drinks & I am not sure why. He's definitely a better person than I because it was an experience not worth tipping. -

Decent food, very good bar tenders, good specials. One of the only places on the East side of Houston with a pinball machine IF ONLY THEY WOULD GET IT RUNNING! Sorry...couldn't help myself. Mojo's has a very nice AC/DC pinball machine in the back, next to some working arcade and shooting games, but it seems to be consistently broken. I live down the street - this is my go to otw home after work, but it's incredibly frustrating to walk into the back and see that thing unplugged week after week (for months as of July 2019). The two issues it has right now can be easily fixed - send me a message and I'll fix them for you! Or get with the guy that runs it and have him replace it or fix it. Please!
